13. Chrome Extension

Acquisition Desk offers a Chrome extension called Acquisition Desk Clipper. The extension helps users save and analyze business-for-sale listings from broker websites in their Acquisition Desk account.

When a user clicks the extension, the extension may read information from the active browser tab, including the page URL, page title, selected text, and visible listing text from the page. This information is used to create or analyze a deal in Acquisition Desk.

The extension does not run automatically on all browsing activity. It only captures page content when the user intentionally activates the extension. The extension does not sell personal information, does not use captured page content for advertising, and does not collect browsing history unrelated to the user’s requested listing import.

Information sent from the extension to Acquisition Desk is transmitted securely to Acquisition Desk’s servers and handled according to this Privacy Policy.
